Aquatic Arizona was born out of stewardship for imperiled desert fish. While working as an environmental contractor in Arizona, I gained experience with several endangered fish species such as Razorback Sucker, Loach Minnow, Spikedace, etc. Most likely you have never heard of these fish, and most people in Arizona have not. Desert fish in the American Southwest are some of the most threatened fish in the United States. In order for people to care and be a part in the conservation of their environment, they must have some level of education of the animals and habitats. At Aquatic Arizona, we aim to provide a video medium for people to learn about the fishes that are native to our great state and become a steward in their preservation.
